    February's image shows an engraving of the opening scene of John Bunyan's famous work, 'The Pilgrim's Progress'.



  • Archbishop Secker and the British Museum

    The British Museum first opened to the public in January 1759, and one of the original Trustees was the Archbishop of Canterbury.
